KATSEYE generated heaps of excitement when they annnounced that they were coming to Manila for an official fan showcase at Ayala Malls Market! Market!

The KATSEYE: Touchdown in Manila event took place on Wednesday, 18 September - attracting a massive crowd of Filipino EYEKONS eager to interact with the global girl group.

Over 9,000 enthusiastic fans showed up in full force, waving their fan banners and loudly cheering as KATSEYE delivered unforgettable performances of 'Debut', 'My Way' and their viral hit 'Touch' - taken off their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong). Some very young fans were even spotted dancing along to the trending choreography of 'Touch', highlighting the group’s mass appeal.

Audience members were captivated as they witnessed Sophia, Megan, Manon, Daniela, Lara, and Yoonchae introduce themselves and dominate the stage with their infectious aura and charming personalities. Local celebrities, including Pablo from SB19 and Niana Guerrero, were also spotted in the crowd supporting the group.

In addition to unforgettable performances and heartwarming fan interactions, KATSEYE treated the audience to special surprises, including previews of the members’ renditions of 'Touch' in different languages, such as Megan and Yoonchae’s respective versions of the track in Japanese and Korean.

Group leader Sophia’s Tagalog rendition of 'Touch' in particular had the crowd chanting “Isa pa!” and begging for more, which led to an encore performance of the popular track that had the audience raving and dancing the song’s viral dance moves.

As the event came to a close, the crowd chanted, “We love you, KATSEYE!” in unison, with the group emotionally responding with a heartfelt “Mahal namin kayo!”. Hometown member Sophia expressed her gratitude for the crowd’s overwhelming support and her wish to stay in the country even longer: “Thank you so much for coming today, I know our time here was short. We hope that we could come back, be here a lot longer, and perform more songs for you all. [...] Thank you so much, I love you!”

The official showcase concluded KATSEYE’s 3-day visit to the Philippines on a high note, solidifying the rookie group's bond with their Filipino fans even more.  Notably, the event was so hyped that it even trended at #1 on social media platform X.
