Hot off abosultely decimating Drake during a viral feud, Kendrick Lamar is set to take the stage in what will be one of the biggest showcases of his already venerated career. As announced on his Instagram, the Compton rapper will headline the Super Bowl LIX Apple Music Halftime Show in 2025.

"You know it’s only one opportunity to win a championship. No round twos," Lamar says.
This won't be his first performance at the SuperBowl, as he was previously part of the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in February 2022 alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. But this is set to be his first appreance as a solo artist.

For his part, the 'Not Like Us' rapper said, "Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I'll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one."
Creative Direction for Lamar’s performance will be provided by pgLang. Presented by Roc Nation, Apple Music, and the NFL, the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show takes place on Sunday, February 9, 2025 and will air on FOX.
