Kilo Lounge has been on a comeback trail over the last couple of weekends, and judging by the incredibly positive reception to their A Series of Intentions pop-up parties (headlined by DJ W!ld and Petar Dundov among others), Singapore's nightlife is starving for them to return.

Well thankfully we won't have to wait very long at all because the new Kilo Lounge will be opening its doors this weekend! The vaunted 4/4 venue is relocating to Tanjong Pagar and they have a pretty special lineup prepared for their preview showing. 

Friday, December 2nd marks their official re-opening and the occasion will be a pretty cool mini label showcase for highly-touted imprint Maeve. Headlined by Irish producer The Drifter alongside German electronic musician Baikal (both co-run the label with Mano Le Tough), the night should be fill with warm affair filled with some of the finest house and acid Berlin has to offer. The night will also be complemented by local tech-house stalwart (and familar face behind the Kilo decks) Zig Zach.

Subsequently, Saturday, December 3rd will see the Singapore debut of left-field electronic duo Young Magic. The NYC outfit, made up of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Melati Malay and Isaac Emmanuel, will be performing live so expect a heady mix of everything from experimental soul to dream pop to krautrock. Last but certainly not least, acclaimed house producer and Firehouse Recordings bosswoman Kim Ann Foxman will be gracing us with a much-anticipated DJ set.

UPDATE: Due to unforseen circumstances, Young Magic will not be able to make it down this weekend. Instead, the talented Miss H will now be supporting Kim Ann Foxman on Saturday. 

Like we said, that lineup is one helluva way to re-introduce themselves, so mark your calendars because Kilo Lounge will bringing in the very best from Berlin and Brooklyn for their raw, "Under Construction" preview weekend. 

The new space is located at 21 Tanjong Pagar Road, #01-02/04 and entry for both nights is $20. Doors open at 11pm.
