Korean star SooYoung (of Girls' Generation) has released her long-awaited debut Japanese solo single, ‘Unstoppable’.
Since announcing plans to launch her solo career in Japan – her first dedicated music activity in Japan since her original debut 22 years ago – fan enthusisasm has been at a fever pitch.
Her debut Japanese-language solo song ‘Unstoppable’ is named after the concept of “unstoppable radiance”. SooYoung herself participated in the single’s overall production, while the music was produced by Soma Genda, who has worked with creators such as YUI MUGINO, knoak and many other global artists.

The track is a dance-inflected tune with a 2000s-era retro feel, featuring memorable lyrics that express the life journey of a strong-willed woman.
A physical CD edition with additional songs will be released on Wednesday, October 30.
