KPOP’s beloved girl crush icon, HWASA, is back and making waves with her latest release, a seven-track mini album titled O. Known for her unapologetic confidence and bold presence, HWASA continues to redefine beauty and individuality in the industry, and O is the latest testament to her journey as both an artist and a young woman.

Following the viral success of 'I Love My Body', which celebrated self-love and body positivity, HWASA’s newest release takes on a more introspective tone. Through “O,” HWASA reflects her personal worldview—round, complete, and filled with positive, free-flowing vibes, much like the circular symbol the album is named after. The album portrays a desire to live life fully, embracing all aspects with a well-rounded perspective.

At the center of this mini album is the title track 'NA', meaning "me" in English, an addictive blend of UK Garage and UK House. The song’s infectious melody is only rivaled by its empowering lyrics, written by the prolific Psy and PENOMECO. 'NA' is an anthem of self-confidence, urging listeners to embrace their true selves without hesitation or fear of judgment. HWASA’s message is clear—be unapologetically you, no matter what the world around you says.

The choreography for 'NA' is just as bold as the track itself. It was crafted by powerhouse female dance teams Jam Republic and LACHICA, both pioneers in the KPOP dance scene. The seamless chemistry between HWASA and Jam Republic, first seen in their collaboration on Street Woman Fighter 2, is once again evident in this performance, delivering a signature dance that is sure to become iconic.

The mini album showcases HWASA’s wide vocal range and artistic versatility. From haunting ballads to fun, playful tracks, each song offers a glimpse into different sides of her artistry. 'Road' is an emotive and haunting track that delves into themes of reflection and growth, while 'HWASA' is a self-referential track highlighting her identity and position in the music world. 'EGO' brings a dynamic mix of introspective lyrics and sultry rhythms, while 'OK NEXT' touches on moving forward and leaving the past behind. 'just want to have some fun' presents HWASA’s fun and carefree side, and the album’s namesake track, 'O', embodies the overarching theme of completeness, harmony, and positivity.
