Queens-based artist Choppy Chan has just put out his brand new EP entitled Music For Your Daughter, and we were pretty surprised to find Singaporean soul and R&B vocalist Slodown featured on the record!
As you may remember, Slodown recently released his debut single 'Khaled' (produced by Yllis) back in August. The haunting track combined the soul of 70s'-era ballads with more modern alt-R&B influences to create a pretty dramatic entry-point for the singer's burgeoning career.
With his freshman EP Nomance still forthcoming, it's great to see that Slodown keeping up the momentum by dipping his toes into the New York City scene with this fresh collaboration.
Here, Slodown guests on a hazy and sensual piano-driven track called 'M2 (2014)', produced by Choppy Chan himself and MisaZu, and its well worth a listen.
