He may be called Slodown, but the Singaporean R&B artist is swiftly starting to pick up steam with the release of his brand new single 'Nomance'.
Hot off his first offering 'Khaled' and his recent feature on NYC-based artist Choppy Chan's newest EP, Slodown's latest effort paints a slick and seductive picture "depicting the heartbreak, emptiness and lust so prevalent amongst the youths of today."
This sultry duet with fast-rising artist Jasmine Sokko offers up alternating points-of-views from two characters entering intimacy for their own distinct, but equally selfish motives.
In collaboration with frequent production-partner Yllis, 'Nomance' is actually the title track off his forthcoming solo record. While his debut took us to the mid-point of his narrative-driven EP, this explicit anti-romance endeavor presents us with the very first chapter in his five-track tale.
