Lollapalooza made its way to Asia for the very time this weekend. A festival rooted in bringing together artists from all kinds of backgrounds and genres, there was no better to hold it than the musically and culturally rich India.
Lollapalooza India made history, bringing together some of the most exciting artists and bands across the world. Whether it was international acts making their India debut like Jackson Wang and Imagine Dragons or beloved local icons like AP Dhillon and DIVINE, the festival offered music and performances that made hearts happy and got feet moving.
Here are some of the highlights of the first-ever Lollapalooza India.

BANDWAGON TV
From the moment the multihyphenate was announced as part of the lineup, The anticipation for Jackson Wang's India debut was unreal. And of course, MAGIC MAN lived up to the hype and more. Seemingly garnering one of the biggest crowds of the two-day festival, Jackson had everyone chanting his name and wishing for more as he gave a magically enticing performance of tracks like 'Champagne Cool', 'Blow', 'Go Ghost', and more.

It's The Strokes' very first time performing in India but they owned it like they've been there time and time again. Closing out the entire festival, the rock band lit up the skies as they wowed the crowd with performances of 'Bad Decisions', 'Automatic Stop', and more.

AP Dhillion has come home. The homecoming act, joined by fellow Desi act Shinda Kahlon, was undeniably a festival favourite, charging up the crowd with his hits 'Summer High', 'Dil Nu', 'Excuses', and more. While the rapper-producer had a bad throat that held him back from his full potential, he threw a full-blown party, making sure everyone left with a night to remember.
IMAGINE DRAGONS
Imagine Dragons was a wonder at Lollapalooza India, having everyone jump and sing along to every song. The pop-rock band charged up the crowd with so much energy, ending the first day of the festival on an absolute high. Leaving as one of the event's biggest highlights, Imagine Dragons put on incredible performances of 'Thunder', 'Believer', 'Radioactive', and more.
DIPLO
Emerging on stage with a shirt of former Miss World Aishwarya Rai, Diplo came in with so much fire, leading everyone into the party of our dreams. Closing out the Perry's x Budweiser Beats stage, the renowned DJ had everyone dancing and jumping to tracks like 'Lean On', 'Where Are You Now', and even the Panjabi MC original 'Mundian Tu Bach Ke’.
DIVINE

You can always count on DIVINE to put on a show. Across his dynamic set on Day 2, the Indian rapper had the entire crowd moving and grooving as he put on exciting performances of hits like 'Mirchi', 'Baazigar', and 'Kaam Pachees'.
GRETA VAN FLEET
Greta Van Fleet enchanted everyone at Lollapalooza India, uniting everyone with their rock classics. Taking over the stage and putting on a performance to remember, the GRAMMY-winning rock band had ever performed their hits 'Highway Tune', 'Light My Love', 'Black Smoke Rising', and more.
