Singapore-born, Malaysia-based musical icon M. Nasir is holding a concert this July to mark an illustrious, 40 year-long musical career.

The man behind hits like 'Hati Emas' and 'Raikan Cinta' will perform for one night only at the MES Theatre at Mediacorp. The musician, who is also a painter (he graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts with a diploma in Western painting), actor and director, will perform a duet with rising local singer Aisyah Aziz.

"This concert is a great opportunity for me to present my music to the younger generation, and I hope it will inspire up-and-coming talents," Nasir told Channel NewsAsia, who first reported on the concert. "It is very important for us to appreciate and understand the roots of our music." 

M. Nasir will perform at the MES Theatre at Mediacorp on Friday, 6 July. Tickets priced at $38, $58, $78, $98 and $118 (VIP) are available now here.
