Thrash metal pioneers Metallica have announced their latest business venture: A children's book. 

Titled The ABCs of Metallica, the book, co-authored by Howie Abrams, will run through the alphabet, highlighting key moments along the band’s storied journey from Garage Days to Master of Puppets to fun facts about its members. Abrams most notably co-authored The Merciless Book of Metal Lists with Sacha Jenkins and Misfit Summer Camp: 20 Years on the Road with the Vans Warped Tour with Kevin Lyman. 

The ABCs of Metallica will be available in stores and online on November 26, and a portion of the book’s proceeds will go to the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation, which supports workforce education and the fight for food security.
