Thrash metal icons Metallica have entered the realm of horology. 

Today, the band announced a new collaborative line of watches with Nixon. The collection will feature some of the band's most iconic album art and singe art including Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lighting and 'Sanitarium'.

The collection features nine designs, each relating to the band's music, with custom imagery on the faces, dials and straps. The designs range from classic, timeless looks to intricate and twisted designs, one of which might include a cage.
