Japan's Metropolitan Rock Festival is back for its 10th year in 2022. 

METROCK 2022 will be held over two weekends in Tokyo and Osaka. From 14 June to 15 June 2022, the festival will be held at the METROCK Osaka Elevant Space, Osaka. Meanwhile, the Tokyo leg will be held at Wakasu Park from 21 May to 22 May 2022.

Confirmed acts for the Osaka leg include THE ORAL CIGARETTES, Omoinotake, Orange Spiny Crab, Creepy Nuts, Kroi, Frederick, Saucy Dog, SHE'S, SHISHAMO, Keina Suda, Novelbright,  Ivy Color, Rain Parade, Uchikubigokumon Club Kyusoneko, Kami, Macaroni Empitsu, Jenny High, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, NEE, Vaundy, Hakubi, 04 Limited Sazabys, Mr. Forte, Yabai T-shirt shop, yama, LONGMAN and more. 

The line-up for the Tokyo edition sees the return of the Osaka acts, as well as other names such as Nigami 17 years old, Group-Zigzag, Suda Keinagi, My Hair is Bad, Maximum The Hormone, Backdrop Cinderella, and more yet to be announced.  

Tickets are available for sale on the METROCK website at JPY 11,000.
