Late last year, Mew announced their impending breakup and farewell tour set for 2025. The shows were billed as Mew 30 as this year mark their 30th anniversary as a band.
These concerts at Aarhus Congress Center in Aarhus on 29 May and at Royal Arena in the band’s hometown of Copenhagen on 31 May were meant to be the beloved Danish group's swan song.

However, there's great news for Mew fans around the world! The band's farewell tour has been extended to include new dates in the UK and Asia.
For frengers in the region, Mew will be hitting up Moonstar Convention Hall in Bangkok on 14 November, The Box in Hong Kong on 16 November, Matsushita IMP Hall in Osaka on 23 November, and Toyosu PIT in Tokyo on 24 November. Tickets go on sale on Friday, 21 March here.

Furthermore, lead vocalist Jonas Bjerre has also revealed that the band may continue without him. "I have decided to pursue other creative endeavours going forth in the future, and I leave Mew in the capable hands of Johan and Silas and wish them the very best on their continued journey."
"We look forward to all the shows this year, a final adventure with our buddy Jonas and we hope to see a lot of frengers out there!"
