Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) will be returning to Singapore this year.
Social service agency Dementia Singapore has announced that the Danish pop rock trio will be headlining its upcoming fundraising concert, which is scheduled to be held at Our Tampines Hub's Town Square at 8 PM on 9 September.
The band were last in the country as part of their BACK ON THE ROAD tour in October 2022.
Part of Dementia Singapore's efforts to push for a more inclusive society, the event will welcome all music lovers, including those living with dementia and their caregivers. Concert-goers can expect to be treated to live versions of hit songs such as 'The Actor', 'Paint My Love', '25 Minutes', and 'Sleeping Child'.

Unlike other concerts featuring international names, MLTR's Singapore show will be held at a venue in a heartland area, or a place that falls outside of Singapore's city centre. This decision is in line with Dementia Singapore's promotion of inclusiveness.
Dementia Singapore's Chief Executive, Jason Foo, said: "Nostalgia has proven to be a powerful tool in Dementia Singapore’s wide-ranging efforts to engage and support persons living with dementia and their caregivers."
He added: “It is the sort of music that those in their 40s and 50s are most familiar with. And, coincidentally, these are also the age groups in which we are seeing a rise in young onset dementia cases."
Before the concert, guests with the free CARA mobile app can check out F&B stalls, rides, and activities at a carnival that will run from 10 AM to 3:30 PM on 9 September.
Tickets to MLTR's concert in Singapore, priced from SGD68 to SGD168, will go on sale via All Access Asia at 11 AM on 12 July. Those who make their purchases before 18 July will be entitled to a 15% early bird discount. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Dementia Singapore.
