It's been months and 'Raining In Manila' still hasn't left our playlists, Instagram stories, and TikTok videos. 

Since its release in June, the inescapable hit single by Lola Amour has been reimagined in various forms – from instrumental covers to Kabalastugan edits. In what could possibly be the biggest tribute to the track, Filipino comedian Michael V has shared his take via a new alter ego: Lola Kanor.

In Lola Kanor's version, he sings his way through a coffee shop called Startruck, calling out to the queue of people with a penchant for iced coffee despite being down to their last peso. For the instrumental parts, Lola Kanor adds a dance break and ropes in dancers for some sultry choreography.

The parody comes as a segment of the Filipino sketch comedy show Bubble Gang, which has seen hilarious and witty versions written, directed, and performed by Michael V throughout the years. The likes of UDD's 'Oo,' Juan Karlos' 'Buwan,' Kitchie Nadal's 'Huwag Na Huwag Mong Sasabihin,' Queen’s 'Another One Bites The Dust,' and more have been reimagined by the AWIT Award winner.

Lola Amour shared their reaction to the parody, writing "Napakahusay! (It was so good!)". The band is currently on their Raining In Manila Tour with upcoming shows in Alabang, Iloilo, La Union, and more.
