K-Pop group Momoland are set to come to Manila this August.
Momoland members Daisy Yoo, Nancy McDonie, and Lee Ahin took to Facebook Live to share the news that they are headed to the Philippines on August 18 (Saturday).
“We really wanted to go to the Philippines,” McDonie says around the 9:49 mark of the video, when they make the announcement. "Of course we want to meet all of our viewers all over the world, but this time we have an opportunity to [go to] the Philippines. So we are so happy to meet all our Philippine [fans].” The girls confess they aren't sure about the details just yet, but promise to make an official announcement soon.

Following the reveal, a fan messaged Momoland, "Yay, Philippines! Please meet Liza Soberano." Besides the uncanny likeness the Filipino actress shares with McDonie, the Bagani star danced to Momoland's 'Bboom Bboom' onstage. "She actually did our dance," McDonie says, "We're so honored and thankful."
Momoland made their debut in 2016 with the release of their EP Welcome to Momoland, following their win at the reality show from where they took their namesake. The 9-member outfit made their breakthrough in 2018 with 'Bboom Bboom', which has garnered over 182 million views on YouTube.
