MONDO GROSSO (Shinichi Osawa) & DONGURIZU team as DONGROSSO on wabi-sabi dance track ‘NIPPON’ — watch

DONGROSSO, the unit consisting of Japanese musicians Shinichi Osawa (MONDO GROSSO) and DONGURIZU, have released the advance single ‘NIPPON’ from their upcoming first album ANTI SOCIAL SOUNDSYSTEM. 

As the title suggests, the lyrics playfully reference the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, with a low-key rap set over a a minimalist techno track. 

A vertical music video has also been released, which uses fully AI-generated visuals to show bizarre scenes of Japan as it is often seen by the rest of the world.

The cover artwork and tracklist for ANTI SOCIAL SOUNDSYSTEM, set for release on April 23, have also been revealed. Pre-order here.
