Munimuni are back with new music.
After holding their breaths since the departure of former vocalist TJ de Ocampo, fans of the Filipino indie-folk act can finally listen to the band's new direction with 'Bukas Makalawa'. According to the band, the song reflects on "the voice of someone who, coming from a place of quiet suffering, longs to be set free."

"In one word, it’s ‘cinematic’," Jiao shares about the new single, which all members of the group wrote together over Zoom. "Also, dadalhin ka ng kanta sa iba’t ibang lugar."
Castro adds, "Writing a song over Zoom, sobrang new experience pero masaya. Collaborating virtually is a challenge in itself dagdag pa ‘yung challenge na first time namin magsusulat ng isang kanta together."
Munimuni is composed of Adj Jiao, John Owen Castro, Jolo Ferrer, and Josh Tumaliuan.
