Violinist and singer-songwriter Muri is gearing up to release her highly anticipated debut EP, 11ème, on 20 September. This indie soul-pop project delves into themes of desolation, adjustments, and personal challenges, as Muri shares her experiences of settling in a new city, far from the comforts of home. The record reflects her journey of growth, as she explores new sounds and songwriting techniques while incorporating influences from multiple cultures and languages.

11ème was crafted with the help of France-based musicians, including indie producer Sacha Arnaud, as well as Remi Klein and Tamino Edener. The EP features a mix of dreamy synths, spoken word, and multilingual snippets, creating a sonically rich and diverse experience. Muri describes the EP as “a concoction of stories, feelings, and languages,” aiming to connect with listeners by sharing her personal insights.

Muri will launch her new record at Sari-Sari Cocktails in Makati City on 22 September, performing live with her band The Ransom Collective. Fans can also catch her at the AXEAN Festival 2024 in Bali on 28 - 29 September, where she will take center stage at the prestigious Southeast Asian showcase festival.
