mxmtoon is back with new music. 

After announcing her newest single release one week ago (18/3), the ‘mona lisa’ singer generated hype among fans for the song ‘sad disco’ which the artist had previously released a short acoustic snippet of on Tiktok.

The actual track is much more upbeat with its roots in dance-pop and its music video features the singer-songwriter dancing her way through the 'sad disco'.

‘sad disco’ acts as a precursor to mxmtoon’s upcoming album rising that can be pre-saved by fans here. Slated to be released on 20th May, rising marks mxmtoon’s first album since 2020’s dawn & dusk.
