NIKI digs into her personal struggles for her latest song.
On Thursday (18/11), the 22-year-old Indonesian singer dropped her most recent vulnerable offering 'Split' via 88rising. Produced by frequent collaborators Jacob Ray and Bekon & The Donuts, NIKI's new single takes a look into the emotional pull and pressures of constantly having to adapt in a new world.

"I wrote it about having to split myself between Indo and LA and feeling like I have to constantly "split the difference"/ adapt/ assimilate all the time," NIKI shares in a statement. "It's a song about home and identity or maybe the struggle to find either. It's a very, very personal and I hope you guys love it as much as I do!"

The fresh track comes alongside a music video, directed by Sean Matsuyama, and sees NIKI in the backseat of a vintage blue Chevy Nova Wagon as she longs for home.
'Split' is set to appear on 88rising's upcoming compilation album Head In the Clouds III with BIBI's 'The Weekend' and Ylona Garcia's 'Don't Go Changing'.
