Last Friday (05/15), Nintendo shared a video of the musicians behind the Animal Crossing: New Horizons opening theme, performing the iconic track to soothe the hearts of many across the globe.

The band is composed of Eric Miyashiro (flugelhorn), Tetsuro Toyama (guitar/ukulele), MATARO (percussions), Takashi Ebinuma (double bass), and Saburo Tanooka (accordion).

Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released on March 20 and sold over 11.77 million copies in less than two weeks, naming it the "best start ever for a Nintendo Switch title," according to Nintendo. It has officially outsold Animal Crossing's earlier titles Wild World and New Leaf for the Nintendo DS and 3DS.
