Olivia Rodrigo's new album is on the way. 

Ahead of her new single dropping later this week, the GRAMMY award-winning singer-songwriter has announced that she will be returning with her highly anticipated sophomore album this year. Titled GUTS, the record is set for release on 8 September.

Full of "confusion, mistakes, awkwardness, and good old fashioned teen angst", GUTS is said to explore growing pains and a period in Olivia's that was defined by change and growth. Written in bulk when she was 19, the album reunites the singer with her SOUR collaborator and producer, Dan Nigro. 

"For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life. I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20 — it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that," Olivia writes in a statement. 

The first track off of the new album, 'Vampire' will be released this 30 June.
