The unpredictable, quirky and passionately punk rock act Otoboke Beaver are back.

The quartet announced their comeback on 7 March 2022 with the album, SUPER CHAMPON, set to be released on 6 May 2022.

Consisting of a total of 18 tracks, the new album sticks true to the chaotic sound of Otoboke Beaver, with the singles 'I Am Not Material', 'Don't Call Me Mojo', and 'Dirty Old Tart Is Waiting For My Reaction' already released as teasers of the upcoming full album.

“CHAMPON is a Japanese noun meaning a mixture or jumble of things of different types. Our new album is a mixture of songs from love to food, life, and JASRAC. Our music is genreless and has various elements. We hope that it will be our masterpiece of chaos music!” Otoboke Beaver shares in regards to the new album. 

Otoboke Beaver has never cared to define their sound, which SUPER CHAMPON evidently shows a new side to them. 

"All the members had different tastes in music [but] we were not very interested in punk music. Even now, we are not conscious of [sounding like] punk music, just conscious of [its] speed," the group tells Bandwagon in an interview back in 2020.

Along with the new album, the group is also embarking on a World tour, SUPER CHAMPON TOUR 2022, in which the group will be traveling from the US to Europe from 21 March 2022 to 24 May 2022. Fans can get tickets on SeeTickets.
