Netflix has given us a peek at its upcoming period thriller series Gyeongseong Creature.
On 23 November, the streaming giant unveiled a teaser trailer for the South Korean production, which stars Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee in main roles.
Set in 1945 Gyeongseong (now known as Seoul), the series follows Park's Jang Tae-sang, an influential and wealthy business owner, and Han's Yoon Chae-ok, an investigator, as they uncover a supernatural creature whose existence is the result of humanity's greed.

Gyeongseong Creature's sinister Ongseong Hospital, which appears in the teaser trailer, also serves as the backdrop for the series' newly unveiled teaser poster.
"The series combines tension-filled creature encounters with a gripping survival tale," shared Itaewon Class and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim star Park, who recently made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in The Marvels.
Han, who has starred in the K-dramas My Name and Nevertheless and the music video for BTS' Jung Kook's 'Seven', said: “The unique blend of historical drama and creature genre offers an exciting diversity.”
Directed by Chung Dong-yoon, the series also features Claudia Kim, Kim Hae-sook, Cho Han-cheul, and Wi Ha-jun in supporting roles.
Part 1 of Gyeongseong Creature will be available to stream on Netflix from 22 December while Part 2 of the series will be released on 5 January.
