Pentakill are making a dangerously exciting comeback.
The League of Legends heavy metal unit will be releasing their third full-length album Lost Chapter this September 8 (Wednesday) via Riot Games Music. This is their first offering after a four-year hiatus.
Prior to making the official announcement of Lost Chapter, teasers of Pentakill's return were teased on social media. According to Riot Games' Creative Director Christian “Praeco” Linke, the upcoming album will have "up to 10 or so" songs.

Last year, Linke shared on Reddit that the team want to "capture the essence of Pentakill and keep things melodic and accessible." He says, "I think on this next one we would likely try to add some new talent to the group. The most important thing is the passion. Metalheads are a certain breed."

Further details, including artists on the project, will be revealed soon.
Earlier this month, Riot Games Music released the official soundtrack for the Sentinels of Light event called Echoes of Light. The compilation includes the themes for champions Viego the Ruined King and Gwen the Hallowed Seamstress, as well as 'I'll Find A Way', which features The Word Alive singer Telle Smith.
