East didn't just meet West in Paradise – they cheered, danced and sang their hearts out with him as well.
It is no surprise that Kanye West’s performance made Paradise IMF every urbanite’s dream party, but let’s not stop there. All artists, whether local or international, gave us their own version of bliss in the blistering heat with performances that made every dust particle in our skin, eyes and even in our mouths more than worth it.
Local flavors Lenses, Giniling Festival and Maude made sure that the festival early birds were in for a treat. Yolanda Moon and Katsy Lee set the mood for an afternoon filled with acts as brilliant as theirs – and of course, The Airplane Boys, Cheats, Clara Benin and Hale undeniably delivered.
The ladies of Paradise were all charming, beautiful and talented: Jessica Milner was all smiles during her cool set, DJ Nina + Joyce Pring danced to their lively beats, while 4th Impact gave their all. But no performer was more charming than Austin Mahone who knocked us off our socks on the Main Stage.

Nostalgia and feels hit when Itchyworms and Up Dharma Down took the second and first stages respectively. But as the sun sank on the horizon, Rudimental intensified the crowd’s energy for the much-awaited acts of the evening. While Yeezy had us in awe, Wiz Khalifa had us happily bopping our heads to some of his popular tunes.
Then, yes, of course, there was Kanye. (Here's our review on Kanye's Manila and TLOP live debut.)
Missed it? Don’t worry, we’ll tell you more about the festival in more detail soon. For now, here’s a taste of what heaven is like on a piece of urban land:
