Pinoy Playlist Music Festival is back for another run at the BGC Arts Center.
The annual celebration and gathering of Filipino artists is happening from 29 September to 1 October. With this year's theme of Gunita at mga Bukas (Memories and Futures), at least 45 performances will take place across the Globe Auditorium, the Zobel de Ayala Recital Hall, and the Sun Life Amphitheater at the BGC Arts Center.
RYAN CAYABYAB AWARDEES
BANDWAGON TV
This year's Ryan Cayabyab Awardees are Alfonso “Coke” Bolipata, Mel Villena, and Regine Velasquez-Alcasid. Each night will end with tribute performances to each awardee.
LINEUP AND PROGRAM
The likes of Joey Ayala, Ebe Dancel, Autotelic, Tamara, Sitti, Sam Concepcion, Leanne and Naara, Of Mercury, Young Cocoa, Nica Del Rosario, Janine Teñoso, and more are slated to perform.
Aside from live performances, the audience can also join special conversations and workshops with music experts:
Day 1: "Filipino Songwriting: From Dreams to Sheet" with Trina Belamide, Jonathan Manalo, and Moy Ortiz
Day 2: “AI: Friend or Foe of Filipino Music?” with Thyro Alfaro, Gino Cruz, and Marlon Barnuevo, moderated by Maria Isabel Garcia
Day 3: "The Difficult Filipino Audience (Perfect Ka, Teh?)" with Direk Floy, Dexter Martinez Santos, and Paolo Valenciano
TICKETS
1-day passes are priced at PHP 2,000 (regular), while festival passes are available for PHP 4,800. Festival passes include access to music talks and workshops, as well as all the performances across three days. Tickets for students start at PHP 1,500. Get tickets here.
