PlayStation announces Backbone One mobile controller for iPhone

You can soon bring your favourite PlayStation games with you on your mobile phones.

On 28 July (Thursday), PlayStation announced the Backbone One – PlayStation Edition, its officially licensed mobile controller for the iPhone. With access to broadband internet and a PS5 or PS4 console, you can plug your iPhone into the Backbone One to start playing your favourite games with the PS Remote Play app.

With the Bandbone One– PlayStation Edition, players will have access to PlayStation exclusives, like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles MoralesGod of War, and Horizon Forbidden West while on the go.

The Backbone One – PlayStation Edition features a slick design inspired by the PS5 console's DualSense wireless controller, making it fit in perfectly with the rest of the products on the PS5 lineup. The controller is also compatible with games from the App Store and other game streaming services, including Genshin Impact, Fantasian, Call of Duty: Mobile, and many more.

The controller is also powered by your device and doesn't require charging.

The Backbone One – PlayStation Edition, priced at 99 USD, will be available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom at launch, with more countries to follow.
