After charming local audiences with their groovy vibes and high energy live performances, local pop-rock quartet Suasion are finally releasing their debut EP on Friday, 30 October. Taking place at The Substation, the night festivities will kick off with Singaporean singer songwriter Joie Tan.
Formed in 2013, Suasion started off after lead guitarist/ vocalist Chris Bong answered lead singer/guitarist Michael Intrator’s Facebook call for a backing vocalist. Subsequently, Chris was joined by bassist/vocalist Lyndsey Long and drummer/percussionist Alvin Lim.

With a sound described as “country-folk inflected melodic pop-rock”, Suasion’s versatile repertoire of originals and covers have seen them emerged victorious at Hard Rock Rising Singapore 2015 Final Battle and perform at TONES Music Festival (‘14 and ‘15) for two years in a row. Most recently, they opened for Kevin Mathews at his Present Sense album launch.
