Today, the Malaysian rapper, who has, in his still-blossoming career, emerged as one of the most essential voices in Southeast Asian hip-hop, and who will be performing at Baybeats 2019, bares his heart in a gorgeously crafted song and music video dedicated to the quintessential Southeast Asian girl, 'SEA Gyal'.

Where Rae Sremmurd say they have 'No Type', Airlifz begs to differ. Even though the title implies a generalisation and an ideal, Airliftz offers specifics such as, "She's from the Southeast / That be my place / A little spicy / That be my taste", over a spectacularly lush soul instrumental with swooning synths and robust drums.

The accompanying music video, helmed by director ATG, is likewise upfront about celebrating its subject matter.
