In December, Singapore will be the site of Culture Cartel 2018, Asia's most groundbreaking street culture convention. Celebrating not just the hype that comes with streetwear but the cutting-edge vision that fuels its best and most next-level manifestations, the event will gather the most path-lighting agents in the world of street art and street culture in Asia, particularly in the fields of fashion, art, toys and tattoos.
Today, the festival's two music ambassadors, Singaporean spitter MEAN and DJ-producer Eden, lift the veil on the event's official eponymous song.
The track is an unrelenting white-hot beam of high-energy sonics – MEAN's booming vocals and Eden's vivid and muscular production are captivating to behold. Trapped-out and bass-heavy, it's an utterly contemporary and thoroughly dashing testimony of the swagger and innovation born from the hustle in the streets.
