It's a song about self-love, of recognizing the things inside me that make me who I am. It's a song I wrote for my listeners. The ones who have dark days every now & then.

"I hope that this song can be a small ray of light to someone who might be having a bad day, or week, or year," Lansangan writes in a statement. "Just a little reminder that each day, we can try to do it, and ourselves, better."
Reese Lansangan previously announced that she is back in the studio for her second studio album, following her 2015 debut record Arigato, Internet!.
