Doused in lush and cozy melodies, the R&B track reflects on past relationships and scorned partners who won’t matter when the world stops turning.

In an accompanying music video, the trio are seen cruising through their neighbourhood in a 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback – a reference to the Asian-American culture. Along with other elements that make up the community they grew up in like backyard mahjong games and pickup basketball, the music video depicts how the 88rising stars would spend their Sunday afternoon with their loved ones.

Since 2022, 88rising has teamed up with automotive partner, Honda, in hopes of spotlighting the label’s breakthrough artists, while creating unforgettable moments for music fans. Much like ‘World Stop Turning’, a number of Honda cameos were noted in the music video, from the stunning vintage cars to the limited-edition 88 Type R apparel collection by the music label and car company that were donned by the artists.
