Music, board sports, and the arts will converge at Singapore's TRIFECTA by The Ride Side this year.
Set to be held along Orchard Road from 28 October to 19 November, TRIFECTA, organised by Singapore-based adventure sports company The Ride Side, will offer a wide range of activities, entertainment options, and experiences to both riders and those curious about board sports. This is in line with the event's mission to increase the accessibility of board sports in Southeast Asia.

On 18 and 19 November, music fans will be able to catch live performances from a slew of regional acts at the first-ever edition of TRIFECTA Music Festival. Scheduled to take place across several stages and zones, it will include headlining sets from Australian singer-songwriter Ruel, New Zealand singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Fazerdaze, Thai neo-soul artist Phum Viphurit and Filipino funk-pop outfit Lola Amour.
Besides being the brains behind tracks such as 'Don't Tell Me' and 'Dazed and Confused', the latter of which won him the award for Breakthrough Artist at the 2018 ARIA Music Awards, Ruel has also teamed up with acts such as Shawn Mendes and Khalid on stage. His headlining performance in Singapore will come just months after he stopped by the Lion City as part of his 4th Wall World Tour.
Fazerdaze's music is an amalgamation of influences from dream pop and shoegaze. Also known as Amelia Murray, the 30-year-old returned from a five-year hiatus in 2022 with the EP Break!. More recently, she unveiled a new single titled 'Bigger', her second release of 2023 after 'Flood Into'.
Phum broke into the international music scene in 2018 with his hit single 'Lover Boy'. Since then, the singer-songwriter has toured across the globe, guested on Audiotree Live, and released two full-length albums, including his latest studio record, The Greng Jai Piece.
Lola Amour first made waves after winning Wanderland Festival's annual Battle of the Bands contest, Wanderband, in 2017. One EP and several hit singles later, Lola Amour has taken over radio airwaves, streaming playlists, comedy show parodies, and K-pop AUs with their biggest hit yet, Raining In Manila.' The inescapable, surprise hit also got the K-pop treatment recently, with GOT7 BamBam releasing his own version of the song.
TRIFECTA Music Festival will also feature performances from Singaporean acts such as emo and math rock trio Forests, singer-songwriter and producer Shye, indie rockers Subsonic Eye, 'Burn' singer RRILEY, indie-rock/pop trio Club Mild, hip-hop artist Akeem Jahat, rock band Cashew Chemists, and more. Additionally, festival-goers can expect to be treated to an exciting finale by DJ collectives EMONIGHTSG and EATMEPOPTART.
Tickets to TRIFECTA Music Festival 2023 are now available for purchase from SGD 98 from TRIFECTA's official website. Check out the full performance lineup below.
Outside of enjoying TRIFECTA's live music offerings, thrill-seeking guests can experience snowboarding, surf-skating, and surfing at various spaces around Orchard Road, including the largest standing wave pool in Asia, a hybrid surf-skate and skateboard bowl, and a ski-snowboard dry slope.
During the four-week event, guests can also check out film screenings, community snow and skate jams, an art market, and the TRIFECTA bi-annual Art Show, which will showcase creations by artist and skateboarding enthusiast Temple of Skate.
Alex Hsu, TRIFECTA's co-founder, said: "The beauty of board sports has always been about being able to ride with anyone in the community while keeping a sense of individual expression on the board. Off the board, there’s also a dynamic community of riders who are creatives, musicians, and artists, whose works have brought people together. We intentionally chose to host a longer series of events with the TRIFECTA Festival so more people could discover this joy for themselves."
While entry to TRIFECTA is free, guests will have to purchase tickets from the event's website to participate in its activities. For updates, stay tuned to TRIFECTA's official Instagram page.
