In a message to Bandwagon, guitarist Mong Alcaraz says, "Wrote most of the words in the D&D office when we weren’t working from home yet. It’s basically a fun take on the end of the world. Music wise, I think we really just wanted to make a rock record with riffs and solos."

Vocalist Raymund Marasigan adds that 'Curtains' was written before the band headed out to Batangas to record their next album. "I never asked Mong the meaning behind the song but to me it felt ominous, tense and dark. In contrast, it was recorded in a very relaxed and sunny place overlooking the beach. We hung out, swam, and ate a lot during the 3-day sessions."
