Forte: A Benefit Pop Orchestra Concert proves that there is still so much more the Filipino music scene can offer the world of virtual gigs.

With their adept grasp of soaring vocals, SB19 and 4th Impact reunited to pay it forward for the benefit of the Sr. Baptista Battig Music Foundation, Inc. scholars last Sunday (17/10). And it wasn't just any kind of concert. They were backed by the SSC Chamber Choir and the Battig Chamber Orchestra to deliver their biggest hits, pop orchestra style.

These days online concerts could easily blend with each other, but this simply isn't the case with Forte. Despite some technical difficulties involving bandwidth and connectivity, the team behind the scenes were still able to mount an innovative event that highlights the skills of SB19 and 4th Impact. Plus, it even trended worldwide.

The show flowed quite smoothly with the Filipino pop acts, alongside Nicole Pugeda and Isaac Iglesias, taking turns under the spotlight until they all shared the stage for their final number.

SB19 reimagined their catalogue, which includes tracks off their debut album Get In The Zone and their latest EP Pagsibol, to offer fans a fresh look into the songs they know and love. Rather than breaking down with their impressive dance moves, the 'WHAT?' act made sure deliver ballads and focus would be on the fresh arrangements performed by the orchestra.

4th Impact, who donned shimmering outfits, stunned their virtual audience with an inspiring take of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', and of course their renditions of songs by their biggest influences like Destiny's Child.

If there was one thing fans could take away from Forte, it's that these acts have so much to offer. These world-class talents never disappoint and surely enough will always come up with different ways to keep this new world of virtual live music alive and well.
