Produced by the 'CANADA' hitmaker herself, the follow-up release to her sophomore album is said to give fans deeper insights into the making of each song in the album.
Album Commentary: [Episode1 : Love] contains narrations in the form of voice recordings from some of the album's notable contributors such as BTS' RM, singer parkjiyoon, and Song Taejong, who was the music video director for the album's fourth track 'Bad'.
"It allows listeners to hear firsthand accounts from the individuals involved in the project, including stories about their initial meeting, the creative process, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes, in the voices of the project’s contributors," So!YoON! wrote.
On her latest album, the artist shared: "I think my fans will be able to experience these different versions of me through this album. I'm showing something that I fear but at the same time, it's also something that I can do best."
The music video for 'Smoke Sprite', which features BTS' RM, garnered ten million views in just nine days of its release.

"With RM, I met with him naturally without any prior arrangement and we talked about our albums and listened to each other’s albums. He’s satisfied with the outcome of ‘Smoke Sprite’. It was really fun writing the lyrics and making the chorus together. It is no exaggeration to say that we truly made the song together," So!YoON! shared in an interview with Bandwagon.
