It's taken some time, but So!YoON! 황소윤 and Phum Viphurit's collaborative track, 'Wings,' has finally arrived.
In an Instagram post, Soyoon, who founded indie rock act SE SO NEON 새소년 in 2016, shares: "Hope Wings give you the experience that makes you feel like you are in a fairy tale. Please welcome with the warmness that can make you forget about the powerless reality."
The Soyoon-directed music video for 'Wings' dropped on 20 October, accompanied by a Twitter Blue Room Q&A on 22 October where the Korean artist answered fan questions about the collaboration.

The collaboration was a long time coming, according to Thai singer-songwriter Phum Viphurit. The pair crossed paths around 2 years ago, at a music festival in Malaysia where Phum and SE SO NEON were on the same lineup. After receiving a message from Soyoon, they met at the hotel lobby to discuss what would be the beginnings of 'Wings'.
In his thank you message to everyone involved in making the track and music video, Phum added a special note for his fans: "These have been turbulent times, around the globe and especially my home. In whatever you're fighting for, here's a reminder to stand tall and stay true but also don't forget to rest your body and mind. Until we meet again."
The duo also shared a "self-cam" lyric video with Phum and Soyoon giving fans a peek into their daily lives - you can even catch a glimpse of their adorable pets!
Phum Viphurit is slated to perform at Wanderland Home Court 2020 alongside Lola Amour and Rusty Machines on 24 October.
SE SO NEON released their latest EP, Nonadaptation, earlier this year, and performed at the SXSW 2020 official showcase.
