Singaporean rapper ShiGGa Shay has unleashed a freestyle to 'Ghost', originally by Jaden Smith and Christian Rich. The remix was released on the night of Wednesday, 17 July, with no prior announcements.

Rapped in English, Mandarin and Hokkien, the freestyle sees ShiGGa talking about the fake personalities he's come across throughout his career, and his choice to remain independent. With lines such as "Barely even know your name but they calling you bro" and "这个年代能讲义气的就只有狗 (Translation: In this day and age, the only creatures that are loyal are dogs)", the remix is a short but gut-spilling confessional from the Singaporean hip-hop veteran.

According to ShiGGa's social media, the idea for the freestyle came to him while watching the 2014 anime, Noragami. It is also worth noting that the video the freestyle is set to features footage from the anime.
