Studio Ghibli is coming to Singapore. 

This October, ArtScience Museum will showcase The World Of Studio Ghibli exhibition, highlighting acclaimed films by the Japanese animation studio.

Described as “one of the largest and most ambitious exhibitions to date”, the exhibition is set to feature large and interactive theatrical sets from Studio Ghibli’s animated creations throughout its history including My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away

Based in Tokyo, Studio Ghibli was founded in 1985 by directors Miyazaki Hayao and Takahata Isao. Recognised for its exceptional filmmaking standards and artistry, the studio has received numerous awards such as the Academy Awards’ Best Animated Feature for Spirited Away in 2003 and the Annie Awards’ Outstanding Achievement in Writing in an Animated Feature Production for The Wind Rises in 2014.
