Excitement is running high among Singapore's Little Monsters as Lady Gaga is rumoured to be heading to Singapore as part of an upcoming tour in support of her new album Mayhem (set for release on 7 March).

As reported by newspaper Lianhe Zaobao, industry insiders are saying that the award-winning singer could perform a series of four to six concerts at the country's massive National Stadium this coming May. Reports also indicate that Singapore will be Gaga's only Southeast Asian stop.

While nothing has been confirmed officially, the speculation intensified after Hong Kong's tourism minister was asked by media if the city lost hosting rights to Lady Gaga's concert to Singapore. HK01 quotes Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law as saying Gaga will be perfomming "somewhere nearby".

Meanwhile, the Singapore Tourism Board did not confirm or deny the rumours, by only stating that the country "welcomed opportunities to host world-class acts".

Industry sources surmise that powerhouse promoters Live Nation could be behind what is poised to be Gaga’s biggest world tour yet, although details remain under wraps.
