Thailand's celebrated rock band Slot Machine has returned with a surprise global collaboration, teaming up with Grammy-winning artist and producer Ryan Tedder for their latest English-language single, ‘Walk The Earth,’ now available on all digital platforms. Exploring themes of resilience, purpose, and the complexity of life, ‘Walk The Earth’ is a significant milestone for Slot Machine. “The song reflects our journey as a band and as individuals, a reminder of the courage to keep moving forward,” says lead vocalist Foet, describing the track as a celebration of shared human experience. This collaboration with Tedder and his team has also pushed the band into uncharted musical territory, marking what Foet calls “a new chapter” in their evolution.

The song, written by Robert Grace and Simon Oscroft, dives into themes of resilience, purpose, and life’s complex journey. Foet, Slot Machine’s lead vocalist, describes ‘Walk The Earth’ as a celebration of shared human experience and a reminder to keep moving forward. “Working with Ryan and his team has pushed us musically and emotionally,” says Foet, calling it a fresh chapter in their evolution as a band. Tedder, a longtime fan of Thai culture, expressed admiration for the band’s distinct sound and hopes this collaboration will be the first of many with Thai artists.

Adding visual depth to the song’s theme, the music video, directed by Thai filmmaker Paphangkorn Punchantarak, showcases the band's “Eye of Wisdom” logo, a unique symbol inspired by Thai spirituality and cosmic imagery. Filmed at culturally rich locations, including the sea-bound Djittabhawan Temple, the video captures Thailand’s mystical heritage while connecting to the ancient Thai ritual of “Floating Tuesday,” a ceremony honoring departed loved ones through water as a purifying force. The symbolic imagery mirrors the song’s focus on resilience and transcendence.

‘Walk The Earth’ builds on Slot Machine’s impressive record of international collaborations. In recent years, the band has worked with notable producers and artists worldwide, from Brandon Darner to Chinese superstar Timmy Xu, and performed across Asia, expanding their influence and fan base.
