In an announcement made on 24 June, SM Entertainment revealed that they are launching a new fan community platform for their metaverse brand 'KWANGYA'. Titled KWANGYA CLUB, the platform is a membership-based service that allows fans to connect and interact with their favourite artists.

KWANGYA CLUB will give fans access to SM artists such NCT, Super Junior, Red Velvet, aespa, and more, but is said to expand to other K-pop idols and artists soon. There will also be two membership tiers: 'Basic,' which is free to everyone, and 'Ace' which is a paid tier that accepts members on an annual basis.

KWANGYA CLUB will officially launch in July 2022. Until then, the platform is running a series of beta-run tests including 'Ace' recruitments for NCT DREAM and aespa.
