Solar just dropped her long-awaited mini-album <容 : FACE>. 

When asked about her newest release, the vocalist shared that she had worked with RBW Entertainment’s CEO, Kim Do-hoon and composer Seo Yong-bae to put together the album that “has a higher level of perfection and satisfaction” than her previous works. 

The MAMAMOO leader kicks off the album with the powerful dance track ‘RAW’ and funky house title track ‘HONEY’ that showcases her catchy rap verse in the song's second half. The third track ‘chap chap’ follows after the titular song, making a light-hearted and refreshing addition. ‘Big Booty’ echoes sounds of the ‘20s, with its swing and jazz-like beat, complementing Solar’s soulful pipes and flawless riffs perfectly. Finally, the mini-album concludes with ‘zinggle zinggle’ a soft R&B track one would play while walking home after a long day. 

'HONEY''s music video showcases Solar in different monochrome sets and outfits, similarly demonstrating the variation of concepts both musically and visually that the dynamic songstress can pull off. The genre complexity of <容 : FACE> enables the well-versed singer to showcase her versatility as an artist and cements why she is one-fourth of Korea’s top girl groups known for their vocal talents.
