Fans of Stardew Valley in Singapore can look forward to experiencing a live concert with music from the beloved indie video game this year.
Slated to be held at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 26 August, Stardew Vally: Festival of Seasons will see an 11-member chamber ensemble perform tracks from the farming life simulator's score, including 'Dance of the Moonlight Jellies' and 'Stardew Valley Overture'.
Composed by Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone (ConcernedApe), the songs from the BAFTA-nominated game were arranged by the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra's Assistant Music Director Thanapol Setabrahmana together with other Thai musicians.
Setabrahmana said: “Video game music is very special and nothing beats the sensation of hearing the music in your favorite games being performed by a live ensemble. It’s been an honor to work on the arrangements for these performances, a lot of care and attention has been put into ensuring these arrangements delight fans both old and new to the series.”

Part of the largest concert tour for an independent video game, which includes shows in Asia, Oceania, Europe, and North America, the Stardew Vally: Festival of Seasons concert in Singapore will feature segments themed after the four seasons — Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring — and include theme music from the game's places, inhabitants, and festivals.
Stardew Valley fans can also look forward to purchasing concert-exclusive merchandise at the event.
“It's been amazing to see the reaction to the announcement of the Festival of Seasons. This is a testament to the amazing passion of the Stardew community, and I’m delighted that more people can now experience this music as a live orchestral performance," Barone said.
