Back in February, Summer Sonic revealed the massive named that would be headlining 2025 edition, which included Fall Out Boy and Official HIGE DANdism; as well as The Prodigy, aespa, BABYMETAL, Porter Robinson, Bloc Party, J Balvin and more. Now the Japanese music festival has added even more star power to this year's lineup.
Their third wave announcement consisted of French producer Gesaffelstein, English singer YUNGBLUD, girl group FRUITS ZIPPER, J-pop band go!go!vanillas, Manchester rockers Hot Milk, South Korean rapper Lee Young Ji and THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE.
Subsequently the fourth wave revealed R&B and soul star Alica Keys, dance and vocal boy band BE:FIRST and American singer Tinashe.
Most recently, their fifth wave announcement included J-rock band amazarashi, T-pop sensations BUS, Australian R&B band CHASE ATLANTIC, K-pop pwerhouses (G)I-DLE, American vocalist HANA, South Korean girl group izna, Thai artist Jeff Satur, anime music queen LiSA, indie group Monobloc, social media star Nessa Barrett, female idol group NiziU, PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, and WOOSUNG's band The Rose.
Summer Sonic 2025 is set to take place on Saturday, 16 August and Sunday, 17, August. The upcoming 24th iteration will once again be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Chiba for the Tokyo venue and at Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Osaka. Clicke here for ticketing details.
