This past weekend, loyal and long-suffering Singaporean metalheads were blessed when three veteran metal bands dropped by for what promoters Street Noise SG have dubbed 'Sunday metal service'.
Headlining the night at the EBX Live Space - Ebenex was Venom Inc, the latest iteration of English heavy metal legends Venom comprising original members guitarist Jeff “Mantas” Dunn, vocalist/bassist Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan and drummer Anthony “Abaddon” Bray. Venom emerged in 1978, and seeing the band's original members in the flesh 40 whole years after the group's inception proved emotional for many in attendance.
Before Venom Inc's metal sermon, though, Singaporean stalwarts Bhelliom, the German group Rage and Finnish melodic death metal band Mors Principium Est played to the small but passionate crowd. All told, it was about six hours of heavy, awe-inspiring exhilaration, which photographer Png Eng Ngee was there to capture. Take a look below.
