On 6 May (Friday), the trailer for Amazon Prime's upcoming teen romance film The Summer I Turned Pretty made its debut online, soundtracked by the re-recording of Taylor Swift's 1989 track 'This Love'.

This isn't the first time we're given a glance into the highly anticipated 1989 (Taylor's Version). In September last year, 'Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)' trended on social media, and was shortly later released on music streaming platforms.

The Summer I Turned Pretty premieres on Amazon Prime this 17 June 2022. The eight-episode series stars Gavin Casalegno, Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Christopher Briney, and Tom Everett Scott.
The upcoming series is the latest adaptation from Jenny Han's New York Times Bestselling coming of age/teen romance novels, following Netflix's critically acclaimed Too All The Boys feature films.
