Tencent Music Entertainment Group has announced the recipients of the first digital commemorative trophy in China’s music industry.
On 20 May (Friday), the China-based online music and audio entertainment platform revealed that it will be awarding digital commemorative trophies to honor groups and individuals who make their mark in the growth of the music industry. Given on a quarterly basis, TME's trophy encourages music creators and professionals to create valuable content.
In its first batch, a total of 11 trophies were awarded. One of the trophies was given to Leslie Cheung's AI technology-featuring concert video, another to TMELAND for its efforts to build a new virtual music world, and one to 141 groups of artists, who collaborated on an eight-hour online livestreaming concert relay called 'Shape of Music'.
